What is an E-Statement?

An E-Statement utilizes Internet-based technology to create an electronic version of your Lake Trust account statement.

How do E-Statements work?
We've made the process easy. After you've enrolled in Internet Banking, you automatically have access to view your E-Statement. You can provide your email address if you'd like to be notified each month that your new E-Statement is available for viewing. Then, just click on the link included in your email to access the Lake Trust Internet Banking site.

  • Log in to Internet Banking, using your User ID and Password
  • Select the "E-Statements" link at the top of the Account Summary screen

Are E-Statements safe?
When you log into Internet Banking, you are accessing a secure site. Precautions are taken to ensure the security and confidentiality of your electronic statement.

How do I sign up for E-Statements?
With your Internet Banking access, you automatically have access to view your E-Statements.

  • Log into Internet Banking
  • Click on the E-Statements link on the Account Summary screen
  • Enter your email address if you want to be notified when your new E-Statement is available for viewing
  • Click the "Accept" button

Will I continue to receive my paper statement in the mail?
If you currently receive paper statements, you'll continue to receive them in the mail. However, since your statement is available online for free and we store up to seven years of archived E-Statements, you can click here to stop receiving paper statements.

How much history is available for E-Statements?
We archive E-Statements for seven years.

Will my E-Statement look the same as my paper statement?
Your E-Statement looks similar to your paper statement and has all the same information. You'll also be able to link to special promotions.

Is there a charge for E-Statements?
No, E-Statements are free.

How do I cancel my E-Statement?
You may cancel your E-Statement service at any time. Just notify us through your Internet Banking Mail Box.

How do I stop receiving paper statements?
Contact us or click here to stop receiving paper statements.

How do I sign up to get my email notification?
If you didn't provide your email address when you accessed your E-Statement for the first time, then you can select the "Update Email Notification Address" link in the menu on the right.

Usage


What are the browser requirements to view E-Statements?
E-Statements can generally be used with any current generation browser like Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Mozilla Firefox, Safari for Mac, and others. The following items must be properly configured within the browser options:

  • Javascript needs to be enabled
  • Cookies are used and should be enabled
  • Third-party cookies may be required

How do I print my E-Statement?
Click on the "Printable Version" link near the top of your E-Statement. A new window will open with a printable version.

 

How do I save my E-Statement for future reference?
We keep up to seven years of E-Statements available for viewing online. You can print a copy or copy the file onto your hard drive. To save a copy:

 

  • View the statement you want to save
  • Click on the "Printable Version" link
  • In the main toolbar of your browser, select "File >> Save or Save As"
  • Select the folder where you want to save the file
  • Click "Save"

What if I change my email address?
To change your email address for your E-Statements email notification:

  • Log into your Internet Banking account
  • Click the E-Statement button on the Account Summary screen
  • In the menu on the right, select "Update Email Notification Address"
  • Delete your current email address in the appropriate field and enter your new address
  • Click the "Change" button

How will I receive informational inserts that came with my printed statements?
You can click on the links in your E-Statement to view the inserts online.
