SoEasy Switch Kit

Once you've opened your new Lake Trust Credit Union account(s), you can switch everything over from your old account(s) in three easy steps.

Step 1 - Direct deposit

If you had direct deposit to your old account, you can continue to do that with your Lake Trust account. Just complete the Direct Deposit SoEasy Change Form and give it to your employer.

Step 2 - Automatic bill payment

Any bill payments that were automatically deducted from your old account can be easily switched to your Lake Trust account. Fill out the Direct Payment SoEasy Change Form and send it to each company that makes an automatic deduction.

Step 3 - Closing an account

To close your old account(s), simply fill out the Account Closing SoEasy Form and mail it to your former financial institution.

An important note: Leave your old checking account open until all checks, debit card transactions, and direct payments have cleared. Cancel any payments made through your old internet banking and switch to Lake Trust's online Bill Payer. For your protection, shred all remaining unused checks and cut up old ATM and debit cards from your former financial institution.
