"Just file it! We'll help."

This is the Michigan Credit Union League’s name for I-CAN! E-FILE created by the Legal Aid Society of Orange County (California). Through “Just file it! We’ll help,” we provide free state tax preparation and free federal tax preparation for any credit union member.

There are some tax preparation exceptions that “Just file it! We’ll help” is not able to process, such as:

• Business owners
• Church employees or members of the clergy
• Capital gains, rental income, and some other types of 1099 income
• When your home address or your employer’s is in another country (non-US)
• Individuals with disabilities or in the military may be eligible for tax credits not available in the “Just file it! We’ll help” software

“Just file it! We’ll help!” does allow you to electronically file both your state and federal tax returns for free as long as you have internet access, your own email address (see below), and access to a printer.For faster refunds, use Direct Deposit.
