Youth Savings Account

Promoting financial saving and literacy among youth

Part of the credit union philosophy has always been the recognition that our youth are the key to our future. So alongside our desire to help our communities and educate our members, Lake Trust Credit Union strives to promote financial saving and literacy among our youth. So, we encourage saving from the very beginning through our Youth Club.

Our Youth Club is open to children ages 12 and under so don’t forget to open a Kids Savings account as soon as that new child comes into your life. Whenever your child is ready to open his/her first account, we’re here to lend a hand. And, of course, we’ll make it a special experience for your child.

Once they become a member of our Youth Club, kids receive a quarterly newsletter, birthday cards through age 12, chances to win special prizes, and special incentives to encourage them to make deposits. At our branch offices, you'll find helpful, friendly people. Our Youth Club is designed to educate youth on financial literacy and responsibility.

And you’ll find all kinds of fun games and information for young people in our Member Center.
