Ray has served on our Board since April 2010. He recently retired from DTE Energy after 38 years of service. Notable accolades include a Certified Credit Union Director distinction and a NAFCU Certified Volunteer Expert.
Phil is the Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff for Ann Arbor SPARK. He has more than 10 years of economic development experience, including a previous role at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
In accordance with the Bylaws, the Nominating Committee, consisting of Jim Barnes, Shane Lovellette,
Monica Martinez and Jamie Schriner, have submitted the following nominees to fill the two (2) vacancies on
the Board of Directors: Ray Seidl (3-year term) and Philip Santer (3-year term). Other nominations may be
made if they are supported by the signatures of not less than fifteen hundred (1,500) members on the
required Credit Union 2020 Write-In Candidate Petition. Petition forms will be available from the Credit
Union’s Corporate Headquarters, 4605 S. Old US Highway 23, Brighton, Michigan, 48114, beginning January 1,
2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Petitions can also be requested by calling
888.267.7214. Completed petition forms must be returned to the Office of the CEO at the Credit Union’s
Corporate Headquarters no later than 4:00 p.m. on March 13, 2020.
Only two (2) candidates have been named by the Nominating Committee; therefore, if no other nominations are received by March 13, 2020, a unanimous vote will be cast by the Secretary of the Board declaring the two (2) nominees elected.
If there are more than two (2) nominees, each Credit Union member will receive a ballot, which will include the above candidates and those nominated by petition and the membership will be asked to vote. Our Annual Business Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. at 4605 S. Old US Highway 23, Brighton, Michigan, 48114, at which time the official election results will be announced to the membership.
